It’s all in the timing

The Sunday AM project was to get the new timing chain and hardware in on the 54 Ford motor. Really not long and involved. A pretty straight forward R and R. Other than some hardware cleanup it was very uneventful. The replacement of the nylon geared set, which was really worn out, with an all metal set, which just looks to be tons more solid. The only thing left is to decide on which timing cover to use, 69 or 83, and what color to paint it. And then button it back up. Leaning toward Ford Gray or Basic Black for the color. Whatever I choose will go on the water pump too. Got to get the water pump and the gasket set but I will get to that in the next few days.
