Squeaky Toy gets some motor work

In the last week or so I have been taking the “face” off of Faye’s 70 Mustang motor. This will let me put in a new timing chain and water pump. The front cover and pump assembly are already blasted and painted. All the front brackets have also been redone. Just having to get around to getting all the big stuff out of the way. Like the harmonic balancer.

This has also included some cleaning up the front electrical harness to adapt to the new style 130 amp 3G alternator and rear mount battery feed. The wiring works but after looking at it I decided it could be a lot better. Still need to fabricate a hood support since the hood springs have been eliminated on the new cowl induction hood.

More to do as long as these old hands hold up!
